  • BETTER LIFE CAMP MEETING

Announced by Anonymous on Mar 05, 2010

    BETTER LIFE CAMP MEETING
Friday & Sabbath, June 11-12  • Milo Academy • Days Creek, Oregon

Motivational speaker Herb Larsen, Jr. is coming to Milo Academy in Days Creek, Oregon. From billionaires and Hollywood celebrities to street derelicts, Herb Larsen, Jr. has made it his passion to lead the lost to Jesus. You will not want to miss hearing the dynamic testimony of a businessman who has changed his primary motive for being in business from that of serving-self to serving his friend Jesus. He states that his life has exploded with "Wow" relevance since finally giving in to letting Jesus take control. No longer simply a verse found in the book of Philippians, "I can do all things through Christ, which strengthens me" has become the motto under which this layman lives his action-packed life. In addition to sharing Jesus everyday with all those he comes in contact with, Herb maintains a heavy international speaking schedule to multi-denominations as a lay-revivali.

Meetings will be Friday 7 PM to Saturday 10 PM. Rooms, meals and RV spaces are available for a nominal fee. For reservations or information, please call 877-741-2588.

    BULLETIN ANNOUNCEMENT #1
Could you imagine a soldier going into battle without his safety gear and weapons? That would just be a suicide mission! But isn't that what we are doing each day when we skip our devotion and prayer times? We all know that we are warring against "real" principalities and powers so why are we not "dressing" for the battle? If you want to learn how to immerse yourself in the "battle wardrobe" of the Holy Spirit then you need to come to the Oregon Spring Prayer Retreat at Grove Christian Camp, April 9-11, sponsored by the Oregon Conference. To register log on to www.plusline.org or call 1-800-732-7587. For more information contact Donna Koehn by e-mail at: wdkoehn@msn.com

    BULLETIN ANNOUNCEMENT #2
Have you ever experienced a power failure in your home? Maybe it was due to a storm or an accident with a power pole. All of a sudden your life changes drastically, you light candles, conserve water, change your dinner plans and add extra blankets to the beds. If it is only for a few hours it may seem like an adventure but as it drags on the adventure can turn into a nightmare!

What about a power failure in your spiritual life? Have you been affected by a "storm", or hurt by something that happened that just wasn't supposed to? At first you may think you can manage on your own. But you soon realize that living without the power of God in your life leaves you in the dark feeling cold, hungry, thirsty and vulnerable.

If you want to learn how to keep the full voltage power of the Holy Spirit in your life then you need to attend the Oregon Spring Prayer Retreat at Grove Christian Camp, April 9-11, sponsored by the Oregon Conference. To register log on to www.plusline.org or call 1-800-732-7587. For more information contact Donna Koehn by e-mail at: wdkoehn@msn.com
